Mark Miller, PhD

Head of Applied Computation & Artificial Intelligence

Mark Miller is Head of Applied Computation & AI at Kriya. He leads the company’s AI strategy and heads a team building generative AI, agentic systems, and AI infra­struc­ture to support the development of gene therapies across the drug development lifecycle. Prior to Kriya, Mark held data science leadership roles at medical device and life science technology companies including Profusa and Inscopix, developing machine learning approaches for wearable medical devices and building neu­ro­an­a­lyt­ics software for brain research. Earlier in his career, Mark spent nearly six years as a neu­ro­science researcher with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, following a post­doc­tor­al fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Mark received his PhD in neu­ro­science from Brandeis University and his BA in psychology from Reed College.
